Pohjois-Korean ministeriöiden ja kansallisten instituutioiden virkamiehet suorittivat ensimmäisen perjantain työnsä tammikuun 5. päivänä eri maatiloilla levittämällä yhdessä maanviljelijöiden kanssa lantaa ja kompostia pelloille.

First Friday Labor of Officials Conducted in DPRK Officials of ministries and national institutions in the DPRK did the first Friday labor for this year at farms in Pyongyang on January 5. With farm implements and compost, they left Kim Il Sung Square for the Mangyongdae Vegetable Farm in Mangyongdae District, the Jangchon Vegetable Cooperative Farm in Sadong District and other farms. They left Kim Il Sung Square for farms seething with farming preparations including the Mangyongdae Vegetable Farm in Mangyongdae District and the Jangchon Vegetable Cooperative Farm in Sadong District. Officials from such units as the Cabinet Secretariat and ministries of metallurgical industry, land and environment protection and land and maritime transport went to the Mangyongdae farm on trucks loaded with small farming tools and manure and assisted farmers with their work. As they unloaded manure and carried it to the fields, they encouraged agricultural workers to do this year’s farming well so as to contribute to improving the people’s living standards. Those from ministries of electric power industry, food procurement and administration and labour and the State General Designing Bureau helped farmers at the Jangchon farm. Other farms were also helped by officials from many other units including the State Planning Commission, ministries of railways and machine-building industry and the Central Industrial Design Administration.
